JLS went on an indefinite hiatus back in 2013 but fans have been speculating over the past few months about a potential reunion, which has now been confirmed.
Pop hunks Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold, JB Gill and Ortise Williams took to Twitter last night to announce their comeback tour, JLS Beat Again 2020.
Taking to Instagram, the official band account revealed a video of all four members appearing to be in a conference phone call with one another before agreeing that “it’s time” to regroup and give fans what they want.
Chatting to Capital FM, who Marvin Humes presents for – the foursome said: “We are so excited to be working together as a group again.

“We’ve always been like family, and now we feel that this is the right time for us to get back on stage and perform in front of our loyal fans.”
They went on to say: “Even though it’s been seven years, you can be sure that it’s going to be as high energy as ever.”

The much-anticipated tour will kick off in Dublin, in November before ending in Nottingham on December 2nd.
One fan tweeted: “Sorry I did not go through years of being made fun of at school for liking JLS, having my bloody JLS pencil case scribbled all over and being laughed at and told my heart won’t beat again when they broke up to not make it to this f***ing reunion tour.”
While a second quipped: “Now JLS are back together you’re all really wanting to go???? where was this energy when I was getting rinsed for wearing a JLS hoodie 7 days a week then.”
A third added: “JLS have been back for less than 12 hours and they’re already controlling my sleeping pattern again.”

JB recently sparked rumours when he confessed that the group had met up “a few weeks back” before saying “never say never” when asked about a reunion.
Speaking to The Sun Online, he said: “This year is a big year for us: our 10-year anniversary [since JLS’s debut album]. We are all very much in touch, we’re still brothers.

“We met up recently, a few weeks back, and we’ve always said when the time’s right we could do something. So a reunion, never say never.”
JB also claimed that bandmate Ortise was in a much better place after he was cleared of rape allegations following a tiresome two-year court battle.
He added: “He is doing well. All things considered. He is trying to put the past behind him and moving forward. We are family and always support him. We are there for him always.”

JLS rocketed to fame in 2008 when they reached the finals of The X Factor alongside Alexandra Burke.
They went on to have four hugely successful albums, including a greatest hits record. The band also achieved five Number One singles.
