Kendall Jenner has come under fire after photos and videos from her Halloween-themed 25th birthday party were shared on social media.
The 24-year-old, who turns 25 on November 3, hosted a birthday celebration in West Hollywood over the weekend, inviting a gaggle of her celeb mates.
Making the event fancy dress themed, stars like Jaden Smith, model Winnie Harlow, Scott Disick and Kendall’s sis Kylie were in attendance.
Dressing up for the occasion, Kendall donned a blonde wig and a corset, channelling Pamela Anderson’s lead character in the cult 1996 film Barb Wire.
Before attending, both guests and staff were required to take a rapid Covid test, ensuring they were virus-free to help reduce the risk of infection at the event.

Inside the venue, signs were pinned to the walls, asking guests to refrain from posting photos of the event to social media.
Despite the social media ban, Kendall and her sister Kylie Jenner both shared snaps from the bash online, and a number of other guests followed suit.
In footage from the event, few guests appeared to be wearing masks, and attendees were not practicing social distancing in a number of photos.
One video saw Kendall blow out the candles on her birthday cake, while a waiter, who wore a mask on his face, held the dessert up to her face.

Once laying eyes on the snaps, a number of fans felt the party was distasteful in the wake of the Covid pandemic, and blasted Kendall’s decision to host the event for her special day.
One Twitter user wrote: “No but kendall jenner really threw a big a** party with all those celebrities without masks in the middle of a pandemic with a “no social media” rule so people wouldn’t find out about it….”
“Ok Kendall Jenner blowing out candles as a masked waiter holds her cake and tries to move out of the way was actually the scariest thing I saw on Halloween,” wrote a second.
One of the guests, Jaden Smith, was also met by backlash, after deciding to wear an oxygen mask as part of his fancy dress costume.

For many victims of coronavirus, the oxygen mask has provided a lifeline to those struggling to breathe as the virus spreads through their system.
Certain fans accused the actor, whose dad is Hollywood star Will Smith, of behaving disrespectfully towards those suffering from Covid in wearing the mask.
As one Twitter user wrote: “There’s just something so inhumane about Jaden Smith wearing an oxygen mask as a costume.”
“Jaden smith at that covid halloween party is rubbing me the wrong way especially his oxygen mask costume,” agreed a second.

The backlash comes weeks after Kendall’s sister Kim Kardashian threw her own lavish birthday bash, heading to Tahiti for a blowout celebration.
Kim’s party, which was rumoured to have cost a whopping $1million, was similarly met by outrage, as fans accused her of flaunting her wealth as the rest of the US struggles to get to grips with the onset of the pandemic.
Justifying the safety procedures behind the party, Kim wrote on Twitter: “After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.”
