Oasis legend Liam Gallagher is eyeing up the Christmas number one.
The Don’t Look Back In Anger singer is hoping to become the next Noddy Holder by releasing a festive record.
Taking to social media to confirm the news on Friday, Liam, 48, revealed the track adding he hopes it will bring back love and hope after a tough 2020.
The British music legend wrote: “All You’re Dreaming Of is a timeless track and perfect for this time of year.
“Considering the year that we’ve all had, I hope this brings back some much needed love and hope.
“Bing Crosby would have been proud. Merry Christmas. LG.”

In a short teaser clip of the track, Liam can be heard singing the chorus over some melancholy strings.
The news was quickly met with a flurry of likes from excited fans all clambering to hear the track.
Replying in the comments section of the post, one supporter wrote: “Perfection for the ears.”
Another added: “Quality Liam lets get this Christmas number one.”
A third continued: “Special tune, captures the mood.”
Meanwhile, a fourth chimed in: “It’s beautiful! An instant classic.”
All proceeds from streams and downloads of Liam’s All You’re Dreaming Of will go to charity Action For Children.
Liam isn’t the only star to release a festive track this year.

Can’t Stop Christmas is a tongue-in-cheek dig at the past 12 months – joking about social distancing and the new normal.
Meanwhile, One Direction’s Liam Payne has released Naughty List featuring TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio.
The track is Liam’s second Xmas single after 2019’s All I Want For Christmas.
Despite the title, the song was an original track rather than a cover of Mariah Carey’s classic.
