Ricky Gervais is dreading going back to live gigs as he loves wearing urine-stained tracksuit bottoms.
The After Life creator, 59, said he hated getting dressed for a recent socially distanced show before audience restrictions kicked in.
But he said of his discomfort fronting the event: “I have worn either pyjamas or sweatpants for the last eight months.
“And I thought, ‘Oh, I’ll have to wear jeans, and put on a belt, because the mic has to clip on to a belt’, and I thought, ‘I’ll have to wear pants’. I haven’t wore pants for eight months.
“It doesn’t matter in sweatpants if you have a little wee, there’s a little dribble.

“But in jeans, in sort of faded, old jeans – I thought, ‘I don’t want to go out there with a little wet patch’.”
Ricky added he has drunk and eaten so much during lockdown – while only doing “a light jog” – he is going be “a fat f***” for Christmas.
Meanwhile the comic also recently revealed he is so terrified of spiders he got a female receptionist to remove one from his £1,000-a-night hotel suite.
He said he was so scared when he saw an arachnid on the wall when he entered his room he had to ask for help for it to be removed.
And he admitted he felt “helpless” as his long-term girlfriend Jane Fallon, 59, wasn’t there to help.
Ricky said: “My top 10 horror stories involve eight-legged creatures.
“The most recent one was, I felt helpless.
“I was on tour playing Ipswich and I stayed in this lovely country hotel a few miles out.”
He continued: “It was beautiful, but the price you pay for a beautiful country hotel is it was old with wooden beams, and four poster and all that sort of stuff.

“Spiders have no respect for how much I pay for my king suite, they don’t care.
“If I go, ‘Listen, this is £1,000 a night lads, can you stay out?’ they go, ‘No, we’ve got legs – we’re going to come into your room’.
“They’re everywhere in the countryside and in an old hotel.”
