Tipping Point viewers were left scratching their heads on Monday afternoon as they spotted a major technical blunder.
Host Ben Shephard welcomed four contestants to the famous ITV studio as they battled it out to win the highly sought after cash prizes.
Chris, Esme, Bradley and Pam all stood proudly behind their podiums at the start of the show.
However, eagle-eyed fans spotted that an editing error revealed the result of the first round within the first two minutes of the show.
Before Ben, 45, got the chance to ask the first question, Esme seemingly had £450 in her prize fund, Bradley had £550, Pam had won £200 and Chris had no cash.
Viewers rushed to their keyboards to point out the mishap which spoiled the result of the first round of the show.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Two minutes into Tipping Point and even before the first counter has been used the scores are in. A little bit of a editing error there.”
Another moaned: “Definite editing error on today’s TippingPoint which revealed the first round’s scores before it started.”
A third person posted: “Not sure why three players started on £450, £550 and £200 today! Back to zero balances a minute later.”
“It’s a huge editing mistake!,” a fourth ranted.
Dropping tokens down a choice of four chutes, the contestants each hoped to knock piles of the counters off a moving shelve – the more they collected, the greater the prize fund.
As revealed at the start of the show, Chris was the first the person to be sent packing from the tough ITV quiz show.
Pam quickly followed Chris out the door leaving it down to Esme and Bradley to battle it out in the third round.
Bradley was the lucky contestant to make it through to the fourth and final round of the competition.
He managed to walk away with the jackpot prize of £10,000 and plans to spend his winnings on a trip to New Zealand with his girlfriend.
Tipping Point airs weekdays on ITV at 4pm
