This Morning viewers were left in stitches during today’s instalment of the ITV daytime show, as Alison Hammond flexed her baking skills.
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby watched from the studio as Alison whipped up a batch of chocolate chip cookies from home, inspired by Pret a Manger’s recipe.
Adding milk chocolate and orange zest into the batch, Alison invented her own take on the sugary treats.
However, fans couldn’t help but spot a hilarious blunder in the middle of the scene, when she fumbled her words.
Whipping out a plate of pre-baked cookies, she tried to use an iconic cooking show phrase, saying: “Here’s some I made later!”

Reduced to giggles, Phil and Holly were quick to point out it ought to have been “earlier” rather than “later”.
Poking fun at his co-star, Phil asked Alison to show off the cookies she had baked “later earlier” before the cameras.
Taking to Twitter, viewers made it clear they were creased in laughter over the hilarious word mix-up, as they praised Alison’s presenting skills.
One swooned: “@AlisonHammond never fails to put a smile on my face! Thank God for #ThisMorning during lockdown.”
