Singer Britney Spears was recently seen sporting a leg cast while the Stronger singer was out in Los Angeles.
Her diagnosis and cause of injury have now been confirmed by her boyfriend, Sam Asghari in an Instagram post.
Taking to Instagram, Sam, 26 shared a series of snaps of the loved-up pair to his 1.6 million followers.
The post, which has since racked up almost 100,000 likes, was captioned: “When you break something it tends to heal stronger ‘specially when you’re my Girl.
“My lioness broke her metatarsal bone on her foot doing what she loves, which is dancing.

“Wishing her the best recovery so she can jump, run, and dance her butt off. #Stronger.”
Metatarsal bones are a collection of five bones in the foot, located between your toes and the heel of your foot.
But, it’s not sure which of the five bones the Womanizer singer has broken.

In one of the heartfelt snaps, Sam was seen writing the word “Stronger” – a reference to one of her hit singles from the early days of her phenomenal career.
Britney, 38, can be heard saying: “I love you, baby” in the adorable snap.
Fans and celebrity pals have since flooded the comment section, with Britney’s younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, commenting: “Between her and Maddie we are running a hospital!!”
