Caroline Flack fans praise 'beautiful' tribute left on London Underground

Fans of late presenter Caroline Flack took to social media after the London Underground paid a touching tribute to the former Love Island star.

The former host was found dead at her North London home last Saturday after taking her own life, aged just 40, weeks before she would appear in court.

Last night, the Love Island finale paid tribute to the late star, showing a video montage of her best bits over the years on the main show and Love Island Aftersun.

While the finale got underway, Caroline’s pal Laura Whitmore choked up while talking about her friend who “loved Love Island and loved love.”

But, this wasn’t the only tribute paid to Caroline.

All On The Board, who are responsible for poems and quotes displayed on the London Underground dedicated a feature to Flack.

The board started with “Caroline Flack 1979-2020”.

It went on to read: “As the sun sets on an island of love, You will shine on forever in a paradise above.

“Nobody will forget you, your personality, your walk and your infectious laugh, Your departure has left so many hearts broken in half.

“May your ocean be calm, may there be no storm, For eternity may there be no storm, For eternity may you be happy and the light forever keep you warm.

Caroline was a much-loved TV presenter

“May Heaven be as beautiful as you, may you find true peace of mind, there is no solution for your confusion, but, we need to always be kind.”

The touching poem referenced a post that Caroline had shared on her Instagram before her death, reading: “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”

Fans instantly flooded the replies of the post, with one saying: “Such lovely words and a beautiful tribute to the Queen of love island Caroline.”
