Caroline Flack’s close friend pays touching tribute to 'beautiful' ex-Love Island presenter

Heartbroken Louise “Lou” Teasdale has paid an emotional tribute to her “bestie” Caroline Flack after the ITV star took her own life.

Former One Direction hairstylist and makeup artist, shared a series of heartfelt snaps on her Instagram account, days after Caroline’s tragic death.

Alongside the images, the 36-year-old posted: “Here’s us like five days ago really happy lolling telling each other we’re really fit and funny 🙂 and five years ago, and 10 years ago.

“I love you. I hope you are at peace now.”

She added: “Til the end my beautiful, Caroline.”

Caroline’s other close friend Mollie Grosberg also shared an emotional tribute to the tragic star.

It comes just days after Caroline’s body was found at her North East London flat.

Caroline Flack dies aged 40

The former Love Island presenter’s death stunned friend, family and fans as she had shared a social media post where she appeared to be in good spirits.

Caroline had “channelled all her energy into getting fit and healthy”, as she prepared for her appearance in court.

The star had uploaded raw posts where she spoke frankly about her mental health, as she waited for her upcoming trial next month.

Caroline described the weeks after she was charged as “the worst time of my life” and stepped down as Love Island presenter.

Her management company slammed the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) for pursuing what it called a “show trial” regarding her assault charge”.

The 40-year-old presenter had entered a not guilty plea to the charge at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court and was released on bail with conditions that stopped her having contact with Burton before the trial.

A CPS spokesman later sent its “deepest sympathies go to the family and friends” of Flack.

It later explained why it pursued the case and added: “We do not decide whether a person is guilty of a criminal offence – that is for the jury, judge or magistrate, but we must make the key decision of whether a case should be put before a court.”
