With government needing to implement measures to protect society, amid the coronavirus pandemic, couples were left with a tricky decision to face, isolating alone or together.

Also, with sanctions in place preventing free movement like never before and folk only being able to venture outside to retain essentials items or daily exercise, it’s safe to say we have all felt the strain of being in such close proximity of our loved ones 24/7.

It will come as no surprise that celebrity relationships have felt the pressure, with many break ups blaming the pandemic for their relationship failures.

The Daily Star takes a closer look at couples who have gone their separate ways during the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Love Island babe and The Only Way Is Essex hunk, began dating in 2018 but are now living separately during the coronavirus lockdown.

Kady and Myles share a bungalow together which is still undergoing refurbishment, tracking the progress on Instagram.

Although they still share the mutual platform for the work of the bungalow, the pair have unfollowed each other on their personal social media accounts.

An insider told The Sun Online: “Kady and Myles are spending some time apart right now.

“They decided to go their separate ways while isolating but are hoping to get things back on track and move into the new place together.”

The Ex On The Beach Stars decided to call time on their whirlwind romance after seven months of dating, plus a marriage proposal.

Georgia and Callum splashed the headlines with a bombshell proposal after they had both fell head over heels for each other on the reality dating show.

It was reported that Callum had moved out their flat in Essex while the quarantine period was in process.

“They were recently flat hunting in Manchester together, but it’s been called off.

“Georgia is now planning to move up to Manchester alone”, a source told The Sun Online.

Little Mix star Jesy Nelson, reportedly decided to call time on her romance with Love Island star Chris Hughes after the coronavirus restrictions had taken their toll.

The announcement came as quite a shock for most fans, who had watched the inseparable pair seemingly go from strength to strength.

Chris and Jesy dated for 18 months and even hinted at marriage plans before later deciding to go their separate ways.

After reports emerged confirming the item had split, Chris later deleted his Twitter account after claiming some reports on the circumstances were untrue.

Boyzone band member Shane and Sheena tied the knot back in 2007 but their marriage came under pressure during the pandemic.

The tattooed Irish man suggested they were living separately as they were not used to spending so much time together.

Speaking candidly about their split, Shane told Paul Danan on the Morning After podcast: “We have had difficult times and are going through difficult times right now in this isolation thing.

“I’m not even in my family home right now because me and her were at each other’s throats. It wasn’t a good time or a good space.”

Shane is hopeful that once government restrictions have relaxed, he and his wife can pick up where they left off.

Wes Nelson, 22, and Arabella Chi, 28, confirmed that they had called time on their relationship only last week.

It was reported that the six year age gap had caused the pair to grow apart during the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Love Island stars had moved in together in December last year but Wes is reported to have moved out of their shared home and is now staying with pal and co-star Josh Denzel.

A source close to the couple reported to The Sun Online: “It’s all over. They started to grow apart and the age gap became really noticeable between them.

“They want to remain civil with each other and hope to remain friends.There’s been no funny business, no cheating or anything like that, it’s just fizzled out between them.”
