Since the 1970s, Charlie’s Angels has been thrilling fans with plunging necklines and figure-hugging attire as a team of three women combat criminals with extraordinary fighting skills.

Fighting crime and taking down the bad guys is something the trio of hot girls have been doing for over 40-plus years.

Oozing sass and sex appeal while completely kicking a**, what’s not to love about the sisterhood who always come out on top.

It isn’t an easy selection process to become an Angel and only the most elite and stunning women are chosen to work alongside the unknown and mysterious Charlie who provides order and instruction.

Farrah Fawcett – Charlie’s Angels (1976–81)

The blonde bombshell was the ultimate pin-up in the 70s with the must-have hairdo of the decade.

Farrah was the original Jill Munroe for only one season but became an icon from her short stint, featuring on many teenage boys walls at the time.

At the age of 62, the star sadly passed away after a three year battle with cancer.

Taking down the bad guys was Jaclyn’s speciality as she played the character of Kelly Garrett for five years, staring in 110 episodes.

Jaclyn has since made cameo appearances in both the 2003 Charlie Angels: Full throttle and the newest 2019 addition.

The American actress’ career didn’t end after her stint on the most watched programme of its time, in fact she went on to appear in many movies and was even nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy in 1981.

Kate Jackson Charlie’s Angels (1976–81)

Kate Jackson is better known for her role as the intelligent and quick-witted Sabrina Duncan.

It seems that we have the marvellous Kate to thank for the show’s name that has spanned more than 40 years.

According to the 1976 show’s creator Aaron Spelling, it was Kate who had pitched “Charlie’s Angels”. which replaced its original title Alley Cats.

Interestingly, Kate had actually applied for the role of Kelly Garrett but was later cast as Sabrina Duncan instead.

Drew Barrymore – Charlie’s Angels (The Movie, 2000)

Shaking things up in 2000, Charlie’s Angels returned to the big screens this time as a movie. ET’s child star Drew Barrymore not only took on the role as bad girl Dylan Sanders but co-produced the iconic film too.

After buying the screen rights to the film, Barrymore decided martial arts would be used to fight crime instead of guns, taking girl power to new heights.

Wearing figure-hugging garments while oozing sex appeal, Drew alongside her Angel peers demanded attention as they fought crime and put the bad guys behind bars.

Drew now aged 45, still continues to have a successful acting career and even won a SAG Award and a Golden Globe for her performance in Grey Gardens in 2009.

Lucy Liu – Charlie’s Angels (The Movie, 2000)

Lucy Liu killed played brainiac and private eye Alex Munday in the first film adaptation of Charlie’s Angels.

Teaching criminals a well-learned lesson was her forté as she got hot and sweaty packing punches and roundhouse kicks.

Liu, 51, has a number of other film credits to her name, and in 2015, she decided to try her hand at directing the film Meena, a sex-trafficking documentary.

She spent four months training for eight hours each day to get into fighting shape for her role as blonde bombshell Natalie Cook.

Diaz’s fame propelled to new heights after her role as one of the trio of Los Angeles investigators.

In 2010, she ranked 60th in Forbes wealthiest top 100 list as one of the richest female celebrities.

She later went on to star in many smash hit films such as What to Expect When You’re Expecting, Bad Teacher, the Holiday, Knight and Day, My Sister’s Keeper and What Happens in Vegas, to name but a few.

Ella Balinska

Ella Balinska was cast as Jane Kano, a former MI6 agent who became an Angel in the edgy remake film.

She graduated from acting school in 2018 and hit the big time after being cast for Elizabeth Banks’ modernised feminist take on the classic.

The 23-year-old lass also landed the lead role in the The Athena as Nyela Malik.

It’s predicted that bigger things are yet to come for the brunette bombshell, who is already at the top of game.
