Dancing on Ice fans make 'fix' claims as they fume over skate off result

Dancing on Ice viewers were fuming over the skate-off result on the ITV show tonight.

Paralympian Libby Clegg and Coronation Street star Lisa George were both in the skate-off tonight after getting the least public votes.

And the judges decide to send Corrie star Lisa home after they performed again as they all unanimously saved Libby, who is registered blind.

Not everyone was happy with the result though, judging by the online reaction from fans.

One fumed on Twitter: “F**king fix! #dancingonice.”

While another added: “Literally no matter who faces Libby in the skate off, they’ll go home because of pure bias.”

A third chimed in: “Can someone from @dancingonice tell Christopher Dean he’s supposed to make his decision based on the skate-off. His comments always say otherwise #dancingonice.”

Despite this, some viewers has the opposing view.

One tweeted: “Agreeing with the judges For once. Libby was amazing in the skate-off. #dancingonice.”

Another branded the decision a “fair result”.

Asked why she chose Libby, Jayne Torvill said the brunette was “smoother and faster over the ice”.

Libby was also involved in some controversy earlier in the show after judge John Barrowman said during judging that her skating tonight “wasn’t spectacular”.

Libby’s skating partner Dan Powell was annoyed at the comment, exclaiming: “I think she’s spectacular.”

Meanwhile John’s fellow judge Ashley Banjo, 31, didn’t agree with him at all though as he strongly argued back: “I’m in awe of you Libby.”

Dancing on Ice airs on Sundays on ITV at 6pm
