EastEnders fans convinced 'Sharon's child will die' as double tragedy hits

Tonight’s EastEnders took a dramatic turn as the focus shifted away from the Carter clan to the Mitchell and Beale extended family.

Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) lashed out at Denny (Bleu Landau) after his continued abuse of his son Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) in recent weeks.

The local politician ended up punching Denny, before locking him in a locker room on the boat, obviously unaware it was about to crash and take on water.

Meanwhile, back in Albert Square, Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) started to panic as she went into labour, with Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) helping as best as she could.

But soon she started bleeding, leading viewers to believe that Sharon’s unborn child or teenage son Denny could die in the upcoming episodes.

One tweeted: “OK I don’t think they would kill both of Sharon’s kids at once, so if the new baby dies then Dennis won’t.”

Another wrote: “Is Ian actually gonna let Dennis die, probably not? But could he die anyway even if Ian saves him? Possibly.”

A third speculated: “Seems to be a few deaths on the cards. Could do with a cull to be fair.”

Someone else said: “Thinking Sharon has a miscarriage.”

While a fifth added: “Is Sharon about to lose Dennis and her baby?”

And another commented: “Loving the episodes so far this week. I think the three deaths will be Leo, Sharon’s unborn baby and Dennis.”

There are still two episodes until viewers discover who dies during this week’s 35th Anniversary celebration episodes.

And there are certainly plenty of potential victims, including Mick and Linda Carter, as viewers saw as they got trapped in the boat’s kitchen last night.

But could a twist see someone completely different lose their life?

EastEnders continues Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One
