Emmerdale fans rightly predicted Belle Dingle has an ulterior motive, as she continued to plague Jamie Tate with questions about the hit and run accident.
Tonight’s episode saw her decide to hand Jamie over to the police, but fans are convinced Nate Robinson will have a part to play in the scheme.
Last month, Jamie ran over Moira Dingle, leaving her for dead as he sped off in the night.
Later, his ex-wife Andrea and girlfriend Belle to learned the truth, after his mother Kim Tate tried her best to dispose of any evidence.
Moira learned it was Jamie behind the crime on Tuesday’s episode, resulting in an enormous family rift as she confronted Belle.
During tonight’s episode, viewers were convinced Belle was trying to sweet talk Jamie into giving her more evidence of his crime.
At the same time, her relative Nate made a few cryptic comments, hinting he was in on her scheme.
As Jamie revealed where he abandoned his car – at the bottom of the lake – certain fans of the show had their suspicions roused.
Over on Twitter, viewers predicted Belle and Nate would team up to gather as much evidence as possible before getting Jamie locked up for a long time.
One said: “So Nate must be the person Belle has been talking to & helping with her plan.”

A second added: “Oh well played belle think Nate was in on it as well.”
And a third chimed: “Belle and Nate, surely working together to bring Jamie down? PLEASEEE.”
“#Emmerdale is Belle trying to get Jamie to show her where the proof is so she can get him punished?” wondered a fourth.
Finally giving in to Belle’s incessant questions, Jamie drove her to the spot where Kim dumped his car, gesturing to a secluded body of water.
Just as Jamie tried to tell Belle he loved her, Cain Dingle appeared on the scene, whizzing down the dirt track in a fit of rage.
In a twist, Belle confessed she planned to hand Jamie to the police – but who helped her construct the clever sabotage?
Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7pm on ITV.
