Emmerdale’s Kim Tate was up to her old tricks last night, as she sabotaged Graham Foster’s funeral for the sake of her pride.
The Yorkshire murderess, played by Claire King, refused to invite anyone else to the proceedings, saying goodbye to Graham (Andrew Scarborough) by herself.
Unfortunately, certain viewers couldn’t help but point out a few problems with the storyline, as she sobbed over the coffin.
Graham was murdered by convicted rapist Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather), with the true identity of his killer emerging just days previously.
Graham’s girlfriend Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) was desperate to play a part in the funeral arrangements, devastated to bury the businessman.

At first, Kim refused to let Rhona come to the funeral, insisting her relationship with Graham was too short-lived.
But later on, Kim convinced Rhona she would allow her to show face at the ceremony – but secretly kept the guest list to one person.
Last night saw Rhona sing Kim’s praises to Andrea Tate, letting her know she had changed her mind about keeping her away from the funeral.
Meanwhile, Kim stood alone in the church while Graham’s body was sent for cremation.

Taking to Twitter, viewers raised a few issues with the storyline, pointing out that police would rule against cremation in a murder case if the suspect hadn’t been convicted yet.
Other fans pointed out it would be impossible to arrange a funeral in such a short space of time – and keep it under wraps.
One said: “Since when was a murder victim been allowed to be cremated before anyone has been convicted?”

A second added: “I wish in real life you could quickly change a funeral to another day that fast.”
And a third chimed: “Very much doubt a minister would have allowed that funeral to go ahead…”
Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7pm on ITV
