Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard was left red-faced after an awkward blunder caused guest to be interrupted by loud music.
The ITV host, 45, was left flustered during the interview with Jason Watkins as the actor was abruptly cut off mid-sentence in the cringeworthy blunder.
Music began to play as a red-faced Ben said: “Sorry we’re going to have to stop you there, we’re out of time. Lorraine next.”
Viewers were outraged as they branded the gaffe “rude” as the music interrupted Jason, who was discussing being a Patron of Child Bereavement UK.
Jason and his wife Clara’s two-and-a half-year-old daughter Maude tragically died of sepsis in 2011, so he is hugely passionate about the charity.

One said: “Wow! That was rude @GMB cutting Jason Watkins off mid sentence. Why bother asking him a question about his charity work for mental health if you knew you were ending the show?”
While another wrote: “Such a pity that @GMB just cut off @Jason__Watkins as he was talking about the children’s bereavement charity he’s a patron of – important messages being given.”
A third added: “#GMB f***ing hell someone finally says something worth listening to and you play the music over him and lead him off.”

Ben did reassure viewers that they would be able to see the interview and get more information online, but fans were still furious after the interview was abruptly interrupted.
One said: “Don’t they get a countdown to when they should stop talking in their ear? very rude!”
Another fumed: “We have to cut you off there, Jason, in the middle of a very worthwhile conversation. Up next, is Lorraine…”

And a viewer wrote: “Wow, cut him off whilst talking about a serious subject but had time to ask a stupid question about Dominic Cummings. Disgusting.”
“What is this shoddy directing on #GMB… time and time again they let Piers rant over schedule but completely cut of a guest speaking about child bereavement with no warning and just play music! Disgraceful” complained a fourth.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
