GMB's Piers Morgan brands Jack Grealish a 'moron' in another rant at footy ace

Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has launched a fresh attack on Aston Villa ace Jack Grealish – branding the footballer a ‘moron’ for virtue signalling with a video apology video for breaking the government’s lockdown rules

GMB presenter Piers savaged Aston Villa player Jack Grealish on Tuesday morning’s show after the footballer was caught breaking the government’s rules on social distancing.

Furious with the sportsman, Piers raged: “One of the brightest footballers in the country but two days ago he tweeted guidance to the nation – he wanted to be one of the footballers advising us.

“Literally a few hours after he went to a mates house party – all night long. Hours after he addressed us all.”

Not stopping there, he added: “The police have to pick up the pieces when these morons like Jack release videos to make then look good and then ignore them.

“What a total plank. I have had enough of your videos. Keep your head down and shut up.

“Do what you should have done when you issued your message that you then broke.

“It has revealed a shocking mindset. It was 7 days after the lockdown.

“Jack Grealish’s great great father would have probably been in the war in trenches for years and he cant even sit at home.

“He is virtue signalling to the world.”

In his apology video, Jack held his hands up for his actions.

The footballer said: “Hi everybody I wanted to do a quick view message to say how deeply embarrassed I am.

“I just got a call off a friend asking to go round to a friend and I stupidly agreed to do so.

“I urge everyone to stay inside and follow the rules.

“I hope everyone can accept my apology and in the near future we can be out enjoying ourselves again when they has boiled over.”

Jack released a video on Twitter on Monday saying sorry for his actions

Letting rip at Jack during Monday’s show, Piers vented: “He had a lot to say last week.

“It was really good until you go to your mates.

“Was are you thinking to Jack? What happened to being sensible.”

The former tabloid editor added: “It doesn’t help when an England star, a role model, breaks the rules. Shame on you.”
