Gogglebox fans were left laughing in their living rooms this evening after series regular Jenny made a cheeky joke about ageing fitness guru Mr Motivator.
Jenny, who appears from Hull alongside her best mate Lee, couldn’t help but comment on Mr Motivator’s package as he made is live TV comeback.
Dressed in a skintight lycra outfit, the gym-lover showed off his new workout routine.
Turning to Lee, Jenny chuckled: “All his bits are hanging down, that is because he is getting on a bit.
“His balls have dropped, oh he needs a jock strap or something.”
Keen to update his routine from the 90s, Mr Motivator has now changed the names of the workout actions to be inline with the current coronavirus restrictions.
His routine now includes actions called “Spy on your neighbour”, “Push the trolley” and “walk the dog”.
However, he still has the iconic move – “ride the horse”.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Oh my God I have actual tears from that entire Mr Motivator scene.
“Absolutely fantastic I am screaming #Gogglebox.”
A second added: “Why is Mr Motivator wearing a bumbag?”
Meanwhile, a third continued: #Gogglebox Mr Motivator’s workout is pretty much my dance routine at the rugby club.”
“Mr Motivator is still wearing that oufit. Wow.”
Despite being on its fifteenth series, Gogglebox is still one of the biggest shows on TV.
The series has vowed to continue filming despite Covid-19 halting production of countless other shows.
While the actual show hasn’t changed, behind-the-scenes the format and production has been adapted so the households don’t need to come into contact with any of the crew.
