Gogglebox's Scarlett Moffatt says 'time travellers built pyramids'

Scarlett Moffatt says she believes the pyramids were built by time travellers.

The Gogglebox star, 29, also thinks Egyptian hieroglyphics were “emojis” given to ancient civilisations by people from the future.

Speaking on her new podcast for BBC Sounds, Scarlett claimed the speed of light is the same figure as the coordinates for the Great Pyramid of Giza.

She said: “What’s happened is people from the future have travelled back in time to create this pyramid.

“Basically Einstein and Stephen Hawking said if you could travel at the speed of light you could travel back in time.”

She explained to boyfriend Scott Dobinson and This Country star Daisy May Cooper her hieroglyphics theory.

Scarlett said: “What do you think hieroglyphics are? Emojis, from the future. There’s a little helicopter hieroglyph, there’s one that looks like UFOs, there’s one that looks like a light bulb.”

Scarlett said she would love to travel back to when she was 13, and tell herself “school people” do not matter, and “don’t shave your f***ing eyebrows off because they’ll never grow back properly”.

The northern lass has previously spoke of her admiration for the late Stephen Hawking.

On the Scarlett Moffatt Wants to Believe podcast, she brought it up again, explaining how she thought she once emailed the brainiac.

But she says: “Well I thought I did, because I googled his email address and sent it but in hindsight it was literally just stephenhawking@hotmail.com.

“So my mam said it probably wasn’t him, which I’m gutted about.”

Daisy Cooper was gobsmacked by the confession, cracking up in hysterical laughter afterwards.
