Katie Price quits Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins after breaking down in tears

Katie Price was the first celebrity to quit Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins as the former glamour model left the show.

The 42-year-old media personality walked out of the Channel 4 reality show at the start of tonight’s episode, handing her number to course leader Ant Middleton.

The celebrities were being punished for several of them not wearing their uniform correctly.

Their forfeit was to hold a heavy sandbag over their head for 10 minutes.

Ant said if they couldn’t handle it, they had to leave the show.

After struggling to hold the bag above her head, Katie bailed out and said to Ant as she gave him her number tag: “Here, have it.”

She began to cry as she said: “I’m so p***ed off”.

Katie then walked out, taking her suitcase with her.

Fans flooded Twitter, some shocked that she was the first to go after she’d said: “Doesn’t matter what anyone says to me I can deal with it.”

Others not surprised she didn’t last much longer.

One said: “I thought Katie Price had a bit more grit than that.”

While another wrote: “Shocker that. Katie Price quitting.”

A third said: “Anyone else not at all shocked that Katie price was first to leave?”

Katie made headlines recently after opening up about terrifying gun-point kidnap attempt before Celebrity SAS.

The TV star explained to Ant why she has such a tough skin when it comes to the world.

The mum-of-five said the incident took place last year.

Katie said: “I am not here for sympathy I’m just saying.

“I have been through a lot of s*** and I am still going through it.

“I don’t even know where to start. My fifth kidnap threat I got two weeks ago.

“My mum was told she was terminally ill last year, then my horse escaped on my front road and it died in my hands.

“My german shepherd dog got run over on my drive way and then I was held at gun point.”

Elaborating on the scary ordeal, Katie continued: “It was in South Africa with my kids.

“That is the first time I have ever had a proper gun to my head thinking we are going to die.

“It was f***ing horrific.”
