Katie Price says her injuries are 'life changing' as she prepares for surgery

Katie Price has hit back at fans and followers who are doubting she has broken her feet, telling them her injuries are “life changing”.

The 42-year-old has returned to the UK after her trip to Turkey, which is where she picked up her injury, and gave fans an update into her recovery.

On Instagram, the mum-of-five shared a video of her having glitter applied all over her leg casts in true Pricey fashion.

Narrating it, she could be heard saying: “Look at that glitter on that foot – the foot that no one believes is broken.

“Can you believe no one believes I’ve broken my feet and ankles?”

She wrote over the top of it: “My new colourful casts despite people not believing I’ve really broken my feet.

“I really have life changing injuries.”

Katie broke her feet and ankles after she jumped off a wall at a Turkish theme park while she was over there having her teeth done with new boyfriend Carl Woods, 31.

Not long after, she revealed to her fans that she might not be walking for up to six months – or even more.

She asked fans for advice on where to find a wheelchair or mobility scooter for when she was back in the UK.

Katie said: “Doctors have confirmed three to six months or it could be longer, so I need to get around on a mobility scooter and wheelchair.”

It’s reported that she will have surgery on her feet this week as doctors believe her injuries are “severe as they could be”.

A source told The Sun Online: “She’s going in this week and the surgery will be a huge job. She won’t be able to walk for at least six months.

“Katie’s devastated, obviously, but also hopeful that the sooner the surgery happens, the quicker she can start on the road to recovery.”

The model’s rep confirmed that Katie was making sure her next few weeks had been cleared to allow for Katie’s post-surgery recovery.

And despite being told she may not walk for six months, full recovery could take up to two years.
