Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande have found the best way to promote their upcoming single during lockdown – by becoming “weather presenters”.
The pop star power duo filmed themselves getting drenched in a fake storm at home to promote their new track Rain On Me.
In the video, 26-year-old Ariana sits in a bathtub in a swimsuit as a pal pours water over her head.
Speaking into a hairbrush like a microphone, she said: “Live from LA, where it never rains, Ariana Grande here.”
The clip then cuts to Gaga whose makeshift microphone is a wooden spoon.
As water is poured over her while she swims in the pool, the singer says: “Live from New York, where it rains more often, this is Lady Gaga.”

Ariana is the first to crack under the conditions when she says, referencing one of her lyrics: “Now we’re still days into it [a storm], and this monsoon… f***.”
The Pokerface superstar says: “That’s right, Ariana. It’s incredible. I’d rather be dry, but at least I’m alive. Rain on me. They told us there will be a pre-flood warning before the flood. Although, I’m pretty sure it’s flooding already. Why is the government so behind the news?”
Her counterpart adds: “This s*** is f***ed,” before the pair say “back to you” in unison.
Ariana later shared her hilarious outtake reel from the shoot, where she couldn’t stop laughing at the hapless situation she found herself in.
Rain On Me features on Lady Gaga’s new album Chromatica, which was released today.
The video for their collaboration dropped last week.
