Love Island band 'No Love Lost' confirm split just three months after X Factor success

Celebrity X Factor’s Love Island band have split just three months after the show’s finale.

Love Island pals Zara McDermott, Eyal Booker, Wes Nelson and Samira Mighty have confirmed that No Love Lost is officially over as the band have announced their split.

The talented reality stars appeared on Celebrity X Factor last year, and left Simon Cowell speechless with their original songs.

Despite the fact they did well in the celebrity talent competition, No Love Lost won’t be making any more music, just three months after the shows end.

Instead, they will be embarking on their own solo careers, and will be focusing on other projects.

Wes Nelson has now claimed that he is collaborating with Dave as he attempts to launch his solo music career.

The former Love Island star says the rapper, who picked up the Album Of The Year gong at the Brit awards last week for Psychodrama, has been acting as his mentor in the studio and has been helping out on his “chilled R&B and pop”.

Wes, who has built a recording studio in his house, told The Sun: “I’ve been in the studio with Dave, he’s been great.

“A lot of the people I’ve been working with are really important. I’m in talks with big producers and labels.”

Wes also said he has teamed-up with Brummie hip-hop duo Loot Boyz to make music.

According to The Sun online, Samira Mighty is also working on her own music.

Although the brunette bombshell hasn’t ruled out returning to No Love Lost, Samira confessed that she’s quit the band.

“I’m not with No Love Lost anymore.

“I’m making my own music now.”

The split will come as a huge disappointment to band member Zara McDermott who said it would be a “shame to throw it away” after having the “time of our lives”.

Opening up about her X Factor journey last month, the Made In Chelsea star insisted that she sees the band going from strength to trength.

“We’ve not officially gone our separate ways.

“I’d love to continue with it. We had such a nice thing going on.

“We took X Factor so seriously, we were the only contestants who were actively writing our own songs every week in the studio and recording.

“We gave so much to that show. It was never a joyride for us. We were never going to do covers. It would be such a shame to throw it away, in a sense”.

Eyal and Zara have yet to speak out about the split with Eyal spending a large amount of time over in Los Angeles with his girlfriend, Delilah Belle.
