Love Island's Callum talks Shaughna Phillips feud as he says he's 'reached out'

Love Island hunk Callum Jones has revealed that he has reached out to Shaughna Phillips with a sweet message for her birthday.

The 23-year-old former scaffolder broke the nation’s hearts and Shaughna’s when he dumped her for Molly Smith on the popular ITV dating show.

Speaking to Daily Star Online, Callum revealed the pair are now on “good terms” and there are “no bad feelings” after he recently spilled that he asked Molly to be his girlfriend.

The Manchester lad told us how he reached out to the stunning brunette on her birthday to leave her a sweet message as she celebrated her birthday while in lockdown amid the coronavirus.

He said: “I mean, I wished her a happy birthday the other day when it was her birthday.”

He went on to say that the bombshell did take the time to reply.

Callum continued: “She said thanks, there are no hard feelings there.”

Asked if Shaughna reached out to congratulate him on being official with Molly, he said: “I mean no because we’ve not plastered it everywhere and put it all over our stories.

“It’s just a thing between me and her [Molly].

Callum is currently in lockdown with Molly and her family, including her parents.

On how it’s going, he said: “We spent time together for three weeks in the villa so coming into this we are used to it but obviously the outside world is different but we are getting on with it.”

Asked on how he feels about missing out on the first few months of the perks of Love Island fame, he said: “The first couple of weeks out of the villa it was mad there was so much going on.

“Now this has happened there isn’t much we can do so, but I’m still keeping busy just not as busy as I would have been.”

“I’ve still got things to be getting on with and stuff to put on my stories but there would have been a lot more work without this.”

“But there’s nothing we can do and there’s no point moaning about it.”
