Star of Modern Family, Stella the French Bulldog has died, according to reports.
It’s believed that the pooch named Beatrice died shortly after the ABC show wrapped its final episode on February 21, according to The Blast.
Stella was brought into the hit series in series 2 when Jay Pritchett (played by Ed O’Neill) got a dog. The furry pal was played by a French Bulldog named Brigitte up until series 4 when Beatrice took on the famed role.
As time passed, despite being hesitant to get a dog, Jay became increasingly fond of Stella and often showered her with gifts and love – making her his wife’s nemesis.

Speaking in 2017, Beatrice’s owner Guin and Steve Solomon spoke about spending time on the set for Modern Family.
Chatting to Bodie on the Road, Guin said: “Ed O’Neill is in love with her! It’s very easy working with him because he brings Beatrice treats like popcorn and always looks out for her.
“We’ll be doing scenes in the backyard by the pool and in between takes he’ll say, ‘Would you please get Beatrice an umbrella, she’s in the sun!'”

During her time on the comedy show, Beatrice was given her own trailer – a crate where she was able to “rest and relax”.
Guin continued: “We always put Stella in her crate, otherwise, she’d be running around the set and then be panting wildly for her scene and we’d have to take extra time to calm her down,
“Of course the crew loves to play with her when she’s out and about because she’s so fun and clowny. She really is one of the family.”
Cast and crew of Modern Family gathered in February for their final day of filming, with scenes being set to air in April this year.
Multiple members of the cast marked their final day on set with Instagram posts with co-creator Steve Levitan sharing a video of the crew waving goodbye.
A representative for Beatrice has been approached for comment.
