Today’s Good Morning Britain saw an tense moment between host Ranvir Singh and radio presenter Iain Dale.
Ranvir, 42, was chatting to the political commentator about the Dominic Cummings lockdown scandal when things turned heated.
LBC presenter Iain said: “[Cummings scandal] has been kept going by the journalists who keep asking questions about it. That is the role of journalists to ask questions beyond reasonable doubt…”
Ranvir jumped in, pointing out: “It’s interesting, isn’t it, because Durham Police, who are at the centre of all of this really, because their final word is what we have to go on.
“They actually didn’t absolve Dominic Cummings of all guilt because they actually did say he was – they did caption it as ‘minor’ – that there certainly was a breach of the rules. But that he wouldn’t be investigated.”

Iain quickly interrupted the TV host and snapped: “Ranvir, you need to get this right! They did not say there was a breach of the rules, they said there may have been a minor breach of the rules. So let’s be accurate in this.”
Ben Shephard attempted to resolve the frosty moment, responding: “Sorry Iain, aren’t we led to believe that there may be, in legalise that they’re saying that there are.
“There are a number of barristers that came out and said that that’s their way of saying there has been a breach. I don’t know if I’ve misunderstood that?”

Iain shot back saying: “If they wanted to say that there had been a breach, they would have said that there had been a breach. They said there may have been a breach.”
Iain’s frosty chat comes after he stormed off the set of GMB earlier this year during an interview.
Iain, Grace Blakeley and Nihal Arthanayake were on the show talking to hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway about Jonty, the man who pushed a young child from the Tate Mordern.

Grace blamed the horrific events on the lack of funding in the care industry, but Iain disagreed and attempted to get his point across when he was cut off by Grace.
He said: “If I may say so that’s nonsense.”
The presenter was then spoken over once gain as Grace and Nihal countered each of his points.
Hosts Ben and Kate were left aghast as Iain ripped off his microphone in a fiery rage and stormed off the set without explanation.
Iain later announced: “Fine! I won’t speak.”
Kate quickly said: “No, I want you to.”
