Bradley Walsh returned to our screens this evening to present The Family Chase, a spin-off series of popular ITV quiz show The Chase.
Bradley welcomed the Walmsley family from Leyland to the show tonight, who were hoping to go home with some cash in their pocket.
The cheeky presenter was eager to see Andrew, Becky, Hollie and Emily get through to the final chase with some money in-hand.
Mark “The Beast” Labbett was in the hot seat tonight trying to prevent the Walmsley clan from going home with the cash prize.
Emily was the first member of the family to take on the tough quiz, but unfortunately got caught out by The Beast and didn’t make it back to take part in the final chase.
Younger sister Hollie, 16, was the second person to face The Chaser and managed to earn a sound £4,000 in the cash builder round.
During Hollie’s head-to-head round, The Beast answered a question incorrectly – to the delight of hopeful Becky.
The contestant couldn’t help but make a chuckling noise at The Beast’s expense, and it didn’t go unnoticed by the no-nonsense quizzer.
The Beast told Becky: “If you’re going to be like that, then wait until your turn.”
Following the awkward encounter, Hollie also didn’t make it through the to the final stage of the quiz and it was up to Auntie Becky and dad Andrew to bring home the money.
Becky, who is in Andrew’s cousin, also won £4,000 in the cash builder round and did make it home and dry.
Andrew was the final family member to take on the quiz.
He managed to make it back home safe with £1,000 making tonight’s total £5,000.
Andrew and Becky managed to answer 18 questions correctly in the final chase, but it wasn’t enough to beat The Chaser.
Luckily, the Walmsley family didn’t go home empty-handed – they each received special edition The Chase mugs.
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm
