The Wanted singer Tom Parker has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
Tom, 32, spoke about the heartbreaking news and said he’s in “complete shock” as he begins radiotherapy and chemotherapy to try and prolong his life.
Tom and Kelsey are parents to 15 month old daughter, Aurelia, and are now expecting their second child, a boy, together.
They both spoke to OK! magazine about the devastating diagnosis, and Tom revealed he’s going to be here for his children.
When asked if he’s got his head around the idea that he may not be around for your children’s future, Tom said: “No, because I’m going to be here, I’m going to fight this.”

Kelsey added: “We have to stay positive. The prognosis is based on much older people, as this usually affects those 50-plus. Tom is a young, otherwise fit and healthy guy and he has a much better chance of fighting this and benefiting from some of the new treatments out there.”
Tom and his family were enjoying a summer break in Norwich, but while on holiday he suffered weeks of unexplained seizures.
After undergoing tests, Doctors broke the news that he had a tumour that was known as a grade four glioblastoma, saying it was “the worst case scenario”.

The dad told OK! magazine: “I’m still in complete shock, it’s so much to take in.”
He explained: “I knew something wasn’t right, but I never expected it to be this. You never think this will happen to you.”
Tom and his wife Kelsey broke the upsetting news on social media, both sharing family picture alongside a statement.
“Hey guys, you know that we’ve both been quiet on social media for a few weeks and it’s time to tell you why.
“There’s no easy way to say this but I’ve sadly been diagnosed with a brain tumour and I’m already undergoing treatment.

“We decided, after a lot of thought, that rather than hiding away and trying to keep it a secret, we would do one interview where we could lay out all the details and let everyone know the facts in our own way.”
The message continued: “We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way. We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options.
“It’s gonna be a tough battle but with everyone’s love and support we are going to beat this.”
