Vernon Kay has opened up about his presenting days on T4 in the early 200s, saying Jack Black was an unsavoury guest.
Talking about their ill-fated interviews, the TV host branded the actor a pig-faced ‘c**k’ who behaved like an ‘absolute d**k’ during their one-on-one interactions.
The 45-year-old explained he met and interviewed the School of Rock star, 50, on several occasions during his time on the Channel 4 pop show, but the A-lister’s behaviour didn’t go down with the British star.
In an interview published by The Sun, Vernon is quoted as saying: “I don’t know whether he’d had a hangover or whether it was because I was either the first or last interview of the day but he was horrible. He was an absolute d**k, an a******e.”
The Manchester native, who was kick-starting his presenting career at the time, branded Jack “arrogant”.

He added: “When you’re so rude, arrogant, and pig-faced to a young TV presenter, who’s so nervous and trying to hone his skills, and you’re so arrogant to dismiss that, it’s just not on.
Vernon added that despite him interviewing the US native multiple times, he slammed the star for never changing his attitude.
“He was just a c**k. I interviewed him three or four times for various films.

“I interviewed him for Gulliver’s Travels, for School of Rock, for Shallow Hal and a couple of others and he was just the same every time.”
And, according to The Sun, Vernon hope Jack’s sees his scathing attack, as he continued: “I hope he reads it, and let this be a lesson to Jack Black.”
Vernon left T4 in 2005 and has carved out a successful presenting career, having fronted a variety of game shows and sports events over the last decade.
In November 2017, he hosted Channel 5’s coverage of the 2017–18 Formula E motor racing season, and co-presented The Hero Challenge with Kirsty Gallacher on Sky Sports.
