BBC Breakfast host Nina Warhurst gave viewers a rare insight into her wedding day during a touching segment on the morning show.
Nina was interviewing photographer Chris Porsz who has recreated a series of images he took decades ago when she opened up about her wedding day.
On Sunday morning’s segment of the show, Chris, a former paramedic, tracked down subjects he captured on film roughly 40 years ago to recreate their photos for a charity book after his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.
One of the images depicting a couple shopping for engagement rings saw the happily married duo, who feature on the cover of the collection, titled Reunions 2, appear on screen.

The conversation of Chris’ random snaps sparked a revelation from Nina as she reflected on her own wedding day after eloping in the US.
Nina said: “My wedding photos actually, we eloped just the two of us and got married in America.
“There was a woman outside who was taking photos for a book she was making about people who get married and they’re the best photos we’ve got.
“She just said ‘oh do you mind if I take your photo?’ and sent them to us. It was lovely.”

Nina, 41, met her husband, caterer Ted, back in 2013 in Tisno, Croatia. The couple grew closer rapidly and tied the knot in 2014 after a year of dating. They share two sons and live in Manchester.
She regularly shares updates of “her boys” to Instagram giving fans a glimpse of her life away from the morning entertainment slot.
Nina recently posted on touching tribute to her husband as she wished him a happy birthday.

The snap showed her two sons one walking just ahead of her, the other getting a piggy back from his dad as they appeared to be attempting to cross the road safely.
She wrote alongside the image: “Bobbing into town with my boys… always hectic. Always worth it. Happy birthday @fedbyted1 … my no1 always. So nice to see #Manchester buzzing again.”
