Former EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney has allegedly ignored lockdown rules once again as he appeared to ask a woman if he could go round hers for a date.
The 42-year-old, who recently appeared on Celebs Go Dating but had no luck, met the woman on a dating app, according to The Mirror.
Despite the UK being in a national third lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic, the star appeared to ask the woman if he could go to her home for a date.
The woman, called Christy, recalled the story to the publication and said the former BBC actor had matched with her on a number of different dating apps before reaching out on Instagram.

Dean’s representatives reportedly insisted to the publication that the exchanges by Dean were “banter” and that he took it back after Christy expressed that it would be breaking the rules.
Christy said she was “disgusted” that the star would be open for breaking the rules if it meant they could go on a date.
She recalled how she tried to let the star down gently.
Christy, 30, said after matching “many times” they matched again on Bumble weeks go and he asked for her Instagram handle and then weeks later popped up.
She claims he messaged her saying: “Happy belated New year,” and after she responded he asked: “When we meeting lol”
Christy joked back that they can’t meet as her vaccination likely won’t be until “December 2021” and that she can’t meet him outdoors because she has broken her ankle.
After a bit of back and forth chat about their lives and children, Dean asked if she had been seeing people in lockdown and then suggested she “put the kettle on”, adding that he’ll be “over on Sunday”.
“No meetings indoors remember,” she reminded him, but he responded: “Don’t worry about all that… to cold to meet outdoors x” [sic]
The woman told Dean she wasn’t going to risk meeting him and then getting sick with the virus as she has children to look after.
He said: “That’s fine just confused how meeting me outside is different to meeting me for a coffee? No worries babes. X”
She told him: “Because transmission rates outside are negligible. Transmission rates in enclosed spaces are drastically higher. That’s why there’s a lockdown that enables people to meet outside but it’s currently against the law to meet inside.”
Dean did not respond to her.
The Government website currently states on lockdown: “You cannot leave your home to meet socially with anyone you do not live with or are not in a support bubble with (if you are legally permitted to form one).”
This isn’t the first time Dean has appeared to flout lockdown rules before, as he was pictured at a party with strippers in Huddersfield in June 2020.
He was seen surrounded by around 40 people as he posed for a picture, before getting himself in hot water after flying out to Ibiza in August 2020.
