Actor Timothée Chalamet is becoming increasingly well-known is going from strength to strength.
Already nominated for an Academy award, Chalamet is just 25. He is a regular on talk shows, in film and on screen and his latest movie, Dune, has been well received by critics.
Dune features an ensemble cast and Chalamet stars alongside the likes of Zendaya, Stellan Skarsgard, Josh Brolin and Jason Momoa.
The Call Me By Your Name actor is loved by his fans and significant interest has been generated in his personal life.
Chalamet is also known for his looks and is frequently seen on the cover of magazines, or making waves for his casual dress on the red carpet.
So who is the actor dating and who has he crossed paths with romantically?
Dating history
When just 18 years old, Chalamet was known to be dating Lourdes Leon. It is unknown for how long they dated, but some reports suggest they were together as recently as 2017. However, the two have reportedly remained friends since their split, so there may be some confusion as a result.
Leon is the daughter of international pop star Madonna and fitness guru Carlos Leon.
Leon said to Vanity Fair about Chalamet: “I respect him a lot; we were a little item. My first boyfriend.”
The two were fellow students at New York’s La Guardia High School of Performing Arts.
Chalamet then dated Lily Rose Depp, daughter of actor Johnny Depp and singer Vanessa Paradis. They reportedly become involved after working with each other on Netflix’s The King, which was released in 2019.
They made the headlines after the two were pictured kissing on a boat. Chalamet later addressed the photos, saying in an interview with GQ: “I went to bed that night thinking that was one of the best days of my life.
“I was on this boat all day with someone I really loved, and closing my eyes, I was like, indisputably, ‘That was great.’ And then waking up to all these pictures, and feeling embarrassed, and looking like a real n*b?”
The pair are believed to have split up around 2020.
In June 2020, Chalamet was spotted kissing actor and singer Elsa Gonzalez, though it was short live and the former Homeland actor is now reportedly single.
Career so far
Chalamet’s film debut was in 2014 with Men, Women and Children. He then featured in Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar that same year.
He broke on to television screens before his film career, however, featuring on Law and Order in 2009 and Homeland in 2012.
It is film, however, where he has made his name so far. In 2017, Luca Guadagnino’s coming-of-age romantic drama Call Me By Your Name was released, receiving four nominations at the Oscar’s, one of which was a nomination for Chalamet for Best Actor.
Since, the actor born in New York in December 1995, has also featured as King Henry V in Netflix’s The King, as well as Theodore ‘Laurie’ Laurence alongside Saoirse Ronan, Florence Pugh and Emma Watson in Little Women.
Chalamet’s family are also heavily involved in the industry. His sister is actress Pauline Chalamet, while his aunt and uncle are writers and producers Amy Lippman and Rodman Flender.
