Emmerdale fans have spotted that the actress who plays Hazel played a major role in rival soap Coronation Street.
The mother of Andrea Tate appeared in the Dales for her daughter’s memorial service and she certainly left her mark on the latest episode.
Fiery Hazel made an explosive entrance as she confronted Kim Tate and told her she wasn’t allowed to attend Andrea’s memorial.
But although tension was rising, viewers were quick to point out that Hazel actress Kate Anthony previously played Pam Hobsworth in Coronation Street.
Taking to Twitter, viewers aired their thoughts.
One fan questioned “Why has Pam from #Corrie turned up?
Another said: “Kevin Webster’s Stepmother.”
“Familiar face,” a third said.
Actress Kate previously played Pam, who was the wheeler-dealer aunt of Molly Dobbs and fiancée of Bill Webster.

Mostly remembered for her money-making scams, Pam helped Molly and mechanic Tyrone Dobbs make it to the altar in 2009 but was disheartened to learn of Molly’s affair with Kevin Webster later on.
After Molly’s untimely death in the tram crash, Pam and Bill went travelling together and returned to Coronation Street engaged. However they later separated at some point after 2011, without tying the knot.
Pam’s last appearance on Corrie was in May 2012 and she hasn’t been seen on the cobbles since.
On Wednesday night’s episode of Emmerdale, Hazel came to deliver some life-changing news to Kim.

Hazel informed Kim that after the memorial, she will take Millie away from her as she is registered as her legal guardian.
Hearing Hazel’s upsetting news Kim broke down in tears as she quickly realised that without Millie and her son Jamie she has no close family around her.
However, fans who believe that Jamie is still alive are convinced that Hazel knows more about his welfare than she is currently letting on.
Taking to Twitter one fan said: “I think Andrea mum knows Jamie Tate still alive and take Millie to him and wait and see first.”
Another said: “Andrea Tate mum knows that Jamie is still alive and take Millie to him.”
A third added: “I think Jamie Tate still alive and Andrea mum take Millie Tate to him and came to Christmas day.”
