English singer/songwriter Adele will return to live performances with two huge shows.
The concerts will take place on July 1 and July 2 2022 in London’s Hyde Park and they will be her first shows since 2017.
Adele’s return to the stage was set back by a hiatus, in which time the star got divorced, and her new album was reportedly also set back by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Now aged 33, she explained that the new album came out of “the most turbulent period of my life”.
Her new album ’30’ will be released on November 19 and will be expected to feature themes of her split form ex-husband Simon Konecki and bringing up her son, as well as the pandemic.
She told Vogue: “Everyone had to face a lot of their demons, because they had so much time on their hands with nothing to distract them. They had to face themselves in isolation. Whereas I did that the year before.”

The new album
It is estimated that her new album and tour will earn her up to £600 million.
Her last album, 25, sold more than 800,000 copies in its first week of release – the highest ever figure for a single UK chart week.
New single Easy On Me has gone to the top of the charts and 25 has moved up three places in the the Official Charts’ to reach Number 3.
Of her new album, she said: “I was nowhere near where I’d hoped to be when I first started nearly three years ago. Quite the opposite actually. I rely on routine and consistency to feel safe, I always have. And yet there I was knowingly – willingly even – throwing myself into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil.”
