Jamie Redknapp has just become a dad again 17 years after his first child was born.
The former footballer is already a father to two sons with his ex Louise Redknapp, and he has now welcomed a baby with his new wife Frida Andersson-Lourie.
The happy couple introduced their new son to the world on Wednesday and shared the news that they’ve him named Raphael Anders Redknapp.
Proud dad Jamie said on Instagram that they are “so in love”.
He also said he couldn’t wait for his boys to meet their new arrival.
As the couple welcome the new arrival, Daily Star has taken a look back into Jamie and Frida’s relationship.
Finding love again
Jamie tied the knot with first wife Louise tied the knot in 1998.
They welcomed first son Charles in 2004, and second son Beau four years later.
However, the path of true love did not run smooth and in 2017 the couple got divorced.
Swedish model Frida has been living in London for a while and she and Jamie met through mutual friends.
They are thought to have started dating sometime in 2020 but their romance was confirmed in August that year.
The blonde – who has modelled for brands such as Escada – was already a parent too, as she has four children from her former marriage to American hedge fund tycoon Jonathan Lourie.
Pregnancy news
Jamie and Frida have kept a relatively low profile as their romance blossomed but in May it was revealed that they were expecting a baby together.
They didn’t announce it themselves, but Frida apparently responded to people saying congratulations on social media and pretty much confirmed that she had a baby on the way.
A couple of months later it was reported that Jamie and Frida, 37, were having a boy.
A source told The Sun at the time: “Jamie and Frida were thrilled to learn they are expecting a boy. They’ve told their children and families.
“Everyone just wants the little lad to arrive now. And just in time for Christmas… it couldn’t be more perfect.”
Harry Redknapp was excited to hear he had another grandchild on the way.
The Mirror quoted him as saying: “We’re very excited. Jamie is very happy and Frida is happy.
“We’re lucky that Jamie has two boys already, Charley and Beau, and our other son Mark has five children, so this will be grandchild number eight.”
“We’ve got our hands full!” he added.
Wedding bliss
The private couple did not even announce that they were set to wed.
But last month they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Chelsea Registry office in West London.
Jamie, 48, later shared some stunning black and white shots from their nuptials, telling fans: “We wanted to share some moments from our special day.”
The footy ace said that it was “a very small intimate wedding with friends and family”.
Frida also uploaded a few snaps to her grid, including one which appeared to show the lovebirds enjoying their first dance as Mr and Mrs.
“My best friend. My soulmate. My husband,” she wrote, along with a single red heart emoji.
She also changed her surname to Redknapp on her Instagram.
