Lorraine Kelly has been charming TV viewers for decades with her loveable brand of wit, sympathy and understanding.
The presenter first made a big splash on TV-am back in the 80s, and since then has been on programmes such as GMTV, This Morning and now Lorraine.
She landed her own show in 2010 and it has been going strong since then, entertaining a star-studded line-up of celebrity guests over the years.
We all know Lorraine on our screens, but how much do we know about the presenter’s life off camera?
As the talk show host turns 62, we have a look at her life behind the cameras.
Sweet marriage
The TV star met her husband Steve Smith in the 80s thanks to her job, and they tied the knot in 1992.
While they have been together for almost 30 years, very few fans could probably put a face to the name when it comes to Steve, as he stays out of the spotlight.
And Lorraine doesn’t mention him too much either.
However, the TV star does share the odd image of her hubby on Instagram.
Earlier this year she posted a picture of them sat together on their anniversary, writing: “Happy Anniversary to my Steve – the kindest, funniest and most generous man. Still making me laugh after 29 years!”
And last week she marked his birthday by sharing a picture of them in the snow, saying: “Happy birthday to my better half! He’s funny, cheeky, loyal and don’t know what I’d do without him.”
Loving mum to daughter Rosie
Lorraine is a bit more vocal when it comes to her and Steve’s daughter Rosie.
The presenter welcomed Rosie – who is the couple’s only child together – in 1994.
Now 27, Rosie had been living in Singapore but she is now back and has started a podcast with her mum called What if?, where they interview celebs together.
Miscarriage heartache
Sadly, Lorraine had a miscarriage when Rosie was little and she recently said she still thinks about it.
She opened up about her heart-breaking pregnancy loss as she talked to Myleene Klass, who made hit documentary Myleene Klass: Miscarriage & Me this year, on her show.
“It’s still there, because you still think that baby would’ve been 21,” said Lorraine.
“You’re sort of mourning for something that didn’t happen and that’s very sad to do.”
Lorraine said at the time that when people told her how common it was it made her feel even worse.
“This shouldn’t be happening to so many women and people don’t talk about it enough,” she said.
Dream home
Lorraine used to live in Dundee but is now in Buckinghamshire, where she and her family have made a dream home for themselves.
Earlier this year, Hello! published some pictures of the house, which is on the river and has breath-taking views.
One showed Lorraine posing beside a Christmas tree with the river as a backdrop behind her through the huge windows.
Others showed her conservatory, with a large table laid for an elegant meal and a comfy sofa where the star can sit when she’s working.
Another image showed the star’s kitchen, which was white, with stone floors.
Lorraine also has a room there for Rosie, which is decked out in white and shades of blue and turquoise.
Lorraine is a serious dog lover
Lorraine has had her border terrier Angus since 2017 and he’s been a large part of her life in the last four years.
The TV star often refers to her pooch on Instagram and he also gets a fair bit of air time on her show.
However, Angus has recently had to share centre stage as Lorraine’s daughter Rosie has added a puppy called Ruby to their family.
