Kate Lawler has opened up on the nightmare medical experience her baby daughter is currently going through after being rushed to hospital.
The 40-year-old Virgin Radio star recalled how her daughter was taken to A&E and was forced to stay overnight after Noa’s finger became infected.
Taking to her social media, Big Brother icon Kate updated fans on Noa by sharing a photo of her daughter wearing a teeny baby pink arm cast while wrapped up in a black and white polka dot blanket in a hospital bed.
With tubes coming out of the tot, Kate took to the caption to give her followers an update.

Kate wrote: “It took eight attempts to get her cannula in.
“That’s eight needles into a different part of her hand and foot until they were successful.
“We have to stay 24 hours. I need to sleep.”
The star explained that she called 111 after finding Noa’s fingertip “red, hot and swollen”.
After this, Kate was told to bring her daughter to the hospital immediately.

Kate said: “Was told to bring her straight to A&E to get it seen to as it’s infected.”
The mum updated her fans via her Instagram Story as she wrote over a series of photographs of her daughter which documented the ordeal.
She then shared a close-up of her daughter’s hand which showed her finger looking bright red and very sore.

Over another picture of Noa, she wrote: “Called 111 as her finger tip was red, hot and swollen.”
Doctors later diagnosed Noa with a condition called paronychia – an inflammation of the skin.
Kate updated fans, writing: “It’s an infection of the finger and it’s being treated with antibiotics via the cannula.
“She slept well from 4am, she looks healthy so hopefully it’s a sign she’s responding well.”
Sadly it is the second time this month Kate has found herself in urgent care with the tot.
Noa was born on February 11 and 11 days after Kate explained her baby was taken to the neonatal intensive care unit as she was having issues with her breathing.
The little lady, who will hopefully make a swift recovery, is her first child with partner Martin.
