She pleaded guilty to drink-driving, driving without a license and driving without insurance, but has reassured her family that she is on the path to recovery.

And now, the former glamour model has taken to Instagram to thank her family for their unwavering support throughout her sobriety journey as she continues to better herself at home.

The former Page three model first entered the rehab facility towards the end of September after she pleaded guilty to a string of driving offences following her car crash which resulted in her vehicle being written off.

Katie later pleaded guilty in court and was charged with driving while unfit to drive through drink, using a motor vehicle in a public place without a third party insurance, in addition to driving while disqualified.

She appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court where chair of the bench Julie Hutton agreed to suspend sentencing until December 15 on the condition that the TV personality had treatment at The Priory.

She was also required not to commit any further offences and was banned from driving until the next court date.

Ms Hutton warned: “We regularly send people to prison for driving whilst disqualified.”
