Love Island viewers voted in their thousands ahead of Monday night’s grand final which saw Millie and Liam declare their love for one another and becoming official.
However, just hours after the pair walked away from the lavish Majorca villa as boyfriend and girlfriend, fans now believe that their relationship could be on the rocks.
It comes following Liam’s shock confession that he had kissed Casa Amor bombshell, Lillie Haynes, leaving Millie Court in fits of rage.
During the Casa Amor plot twist, Liam and Lillie kissed and flirted, all while sharing a bed together despite Liam having coupled up with a heartbroken Millie in the main villa.
While Lillie may have shattered Millie’s heart by confessing that she and Liam had a “connection”, Millie forgave her Welsh beau and the pair soon became happier than ever.
After being crowned the winners, Lillie made the decision to share the eye-watering £50,000 with her boyfriend.
While fans had been rallying for Millie to steal the grand total, she told host Laura Whitmore that she chose “love” and would be sharing it.
Now, however, fans are convinced that upon their return to Blighty, the pair will call it a day after Millie watches the Casa Amor episodes back.
“For everyone saying Millie and Liam are the strongest couples, you know she’s going to watch the Casa Amor rerun when she’s out the villa right?” said one Twitter user.
Before a second went on to say: “I hope Millie spends her quarantine time wisely and watches Casa Amor.”
“When Millie watches back Casa Amor she’s going to wish she didn’t win,” typed a third.
While a fourth viewer went on to add: “I am gutted Millie & Liam won tbh, nothing against them I just feel like they weren’t the same after #CasaAmor and I feel proper gutted for Millie because when she watches that she’s gonna feel devo’d she graduated after what Liam did [sic].”
Just minutes before being announced as the winners, Liam asked Millie to be his official girlfriend, live on air.
“Well, you’ve already said the L-word [love], so boyfriend and girlfriend on the cards?” asked Laura Whitmore when speaking to Millie and Liam.
Millie responded: “I don’t know, we definitely will be one day, won’t we?” while looking at her beau.
Quickly looking at Millie, Liam asked her to be his girlfriend, leaving Laura Whitmore speechless.
