Love Island's Lucinda baffles fans with 'unusual' petrol station pics amid fuel crisis

Love Island beauty Lucinda Strafford had some fans rather puzzled recently after a picture emerged on Instagram which showed her posing at a petrol station.

The blonde bombshell, who made her mark on this year’s series, certainly turned heads in the gorgeous snap – but due to Britain’s ongoing fuel crisis some fans thought it was an “ironic” location.

Posing for fashion company The Luxe Range, Lucinda stood confidently in front of the petrol pumps wearing silky white shorts and a low cut black ribbed top.

She also added a black Yves Saint Laurent hand bag that sported gold detailing to her outfit.

But despite the gorgeous look, fans couldn’t help but point out the location choice.

Taking to the comment section, one fan wrote: “Ironic settings.”

Another chimed: “Lucky you, you’re at the petrol station,” followed by a rolling eyed emoji.

Asking about Lucinda’s white shorts that the fashion company was selling a third follower penned: “Do they come with free petrol?”

Luckily for Lucinda, the out of fuel signs that many people have been seeing over the last week were not in sight, but it still left some fans jealous that they weren’t witnessing the empty locations Lucinda had spotted.

Over the last few days, UK car owners have been faced with fuel shortages due to initial panic buying.

But today Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng has said there are signs that the petrol crisis – which has seen immensely long queues outside forecourts across Great Britain – is “stabilising”.

Since leaving Love Island, Lucinda, 21, has landed a job with online fashion retailer I Saw It First and will become their new brand ambassador.

Revealing the news to her fans she said: “I am so excited to finally reveal that I am a brand ambassador for I Saw It First!

“I am such a big fan of the brand and loved wearing their clothes in the villa so it was a definite YES when they approached me to be one of their ambassadors.

“Announcing this alongside my first ever collection with them is a dream come true.”

She also took to Instagram last week to showcase her new collection to fans.

The reality babe penned: “It’s here! My edit with @isawitfirst has launched and I can’t believe #LUCINDAXISAW is online for you guys to shop!
