The former Only Way Is Essex star said: “It’s been a terribly tough decision as I have had the time of my life every evening in the studio playing for you.
“But sometimes life moves in different directions and after the last year or so, it’s made me think about life slightly differently and it’s time to spend more time with what’s most important…. My family.”
Mark is married to actress Michelle Keegan and joined the Heart team in December 2021 with his Club Classics show.
The star took a break between 2017 and 2019 while presenting Extra in America before returning to a Monday-Thursday slot in 2020.
