Married At First Sight Australia fans floored as Dan's mum makes dig at Tamara

Married At First Sight Australia viewers were left speechless on Wednesday night as Dan Webb’s mum made a brutal dig at her son’s wife Tamara Joy.

The unconventional dating show began last month on E4, with 13 new couples looking for love and prepped to say “I do”.

Dan and Tamara went to spend some time at the groom’s hometown during the latest episode as the couple adjusted to married life.

The newlyweds spent some time with Dan’s mum Gabby Smith who had plenty to say about her new daughter-in-law.

Gabby told her son that she didn’t think he and Tamara were “touchy-feely” enough and that she “didn’t feel any warmth” from the latest addition to the family.

Married At First Sight viewers were left gobsmacked as Dan Webb’s mother Gabby Smith told her son exactly what she thought of his new bride Tamara Joy

Viewers at home couldn’t believe Gabby’s outburst and rushed to social media to discuss Dan’s mum’s outspoken comments.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Im sure if Dan and Tamara started s****ing each other at his mums dinner table she’d still say something. Stupid woman get real.”

Another joked: “Dan’s going to have take Tamara back to his mum’s house and bend her over the kitchen table!”

While a third viewer posted: “Let’s be honest Dan’s mum doesn’t think any woman is good enough for her son!”

A fourth social media user wrote: “Christ Dans Mum is a nightmare. Maybe Tamara should tell her Dan was all over Jessica at the dinner party and she how she feels.”

“Dan should reel his mum in,” a fifth person said.

Fans of the show took to social media to tell Dan to “reel his mother in”

Dan and Tamara’s time on the show didn’t get off to a great start when her limo broke down, leaving the groom seemingly alone at the altar on their wedding day.

A frustrated Tamara explained to the camera: “The car’s broken down and I’m late, and I’m freaking out.”

She then cursed: “Holy s**t balls,” as she walked up and down the pavement while holding her wedding bouquet.

However, luckily for the groom, Tamara’s car started working again and her driver was able to get her to the altar where she said “I do”.

The couple went on to appear to enjoy their big day but will it be happily ever after for Dan and Tamara?

Married at First Sight Austrailia continues Thursday on E4 at 7.30pm
