Meghan Markle honoured the UK for Remembrance Day in a meaningful gesture with a symbolic poppy pin.
On Tuesday, the Duchess of Sussex joined The New York Times Deal Book Online Summit to discuss women’s efforts to achieve economic and professional equality.
For the appearance in New York, the former Suits actress sported black trousers and a black top.

Photographer Calla Kessler shared a snap of Meghan on her social media page and commented about the accessory.
She penned: “I asked her about the poppy. It’s for Remembrance Day to honour armed forces members.”
The red flower has been used primarily in the UK and Commonwealth since 1921 to commemorate military members who have died in war.
