Peter Andre has explained why he and wife Emily MacDonagh keep their children’s faces off of social media.
It had always been thought the couple decided not to show Theodore, four, and seven-year-old Amelia to the world as they were too young to be thrust into the spotlight.
But Pete says that isn’t the only reason why they are protective of the kids’ identities.
The father-of-four revealed they have taken the decision so nobody recognises them at school.
Speaking in his latest YouTube video, the singer explained why they cover the kids’ faces with emojis whenever they post family snaps on social media.

He said: “Emily’s point is that they weren’t born into the media. No one has ever seen their faces so she doesn’t really want anyone to see their faces.
“So when they go to school no one can really recognise them.”
He also has Junior, 15, and 13-year-old Princess from his marriage to Katie Price and the approach was the opposite.

Pete says it is different for the teens as they were “documenting” their lives when they were together.
“Obviously from J and P from day one, we were documenting our lives and they were part of that so I think they have always been in the media,” he added.
“So I have to respect Emily, she hasn’t done it. She says once you do cross that, there’s no going back so I’m like, ‘OK, no problem'”.

But back in May, Pete was “in the dog house” with Emily after showing Theo’s face during a live TV interview.
The Mysterious Girl singer was live on Loose Women when the then three-year-old jumped on his lap.
He clambered up on top of his dad before running away, giving viewers a quick glimpse of his face for the first time.
Emily hit the roof that he wasn’t more careful and sheepish Pete was forced to say sorry.
