Tonight’s BAFTA TV awards show saw some of the biggest names in TV travel on down to London’s Television Centre for the prestigious event.
The TV event of the year hosted a much more limited set of stars, with many appearing remotely.
One person who wasn’t attending tonight’s ceremony was former GMB anchor Piers Morgan.
And he didn’t seem to be enjoying the evening of TV celebration from the comfort of his own home.
In view of his 7.9 million Twitter followers, Piers gave his view on the awards show of the moment.
He told them: “This #BAFTAs is unwatchable, like every other awards show since the pandemic started.”
Those in his replies were offering up mixed responses to his verdict.
“Tried to watch it – had to switch off,” agreed one unimpressed viewer.
Another said: “It would be adorable if we were able to watch a TV show without being preached to and told what to think every single time. It’s exhausting and counterproductive.”
A third follower commented: “They were unwatchable before the pandemic started”
However one pointed out to the TV star: “And yet there you are, watching them all.”
“I’m watching, you can always turn over and not tell the world about it,” agreed another.
It comes just hours after Piers’ explosive interview with 60 Minutes Australia was released.
Piers addressed his Good Morning Britain exit, as well as his ongoing criticism of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during the explosive interview.
He claimed he didn’t know Meghan Markle had complained to ITV about his comments regarding her mental health, which ultimately led him to step down after he refused to apologise.

He said: “I didn’t know this at the time but Meghan Markle had complained to my boss at ITV on the Monday night.
“It was demanded I apologise for disbelieving her otherwise I would have to vacate my chair.
“I thought there was hypocrisy, I thought there were downright lies coming out in the interview.
“I saw my job to hold them to account like I would to a government minister and for doing that, within 36 hours I had to leave the job.”
