A Place in the Sun’s presenter Ben Hillman has shot himself in the foot after making a joke about his guest’s hair.
The host met up with his guests Whitney and Rose at Costa Blanca, Spain, to search for a holiday home with outdoor space and a communal swimming pool.
After a long search in the La Zenia region, they have come to a final stop at the promenade before heading to view their finally property.

While Ben tried to show the couple the night lift the area can offer, he accidentally offended Whitney with a bad hair joke.
He introduced: “This lovely walkway is called Dique de Levente. It’s just over 1.3 km long. What do you know of this area here?”
Whitney and Rose knew there were some bars and restaurants around the marina.
Ben then pointed out that there’s a member’s club by the sea, adding: “Might be worth signing up to, for some swanky nights out.
“Let the hair down and party.”
Whitney turned away with a frowned face, telling Ben: “Don’t know about that.”
Rose giggled and stressed: “Hair down.”

The presenter realised he had made a bad joke and apologised: “I know, I realised my mistake.”
Whitney chimed in with a “thank you” before Ben continued: “No one had noticed up till that point!
“I think we should spin around to have a look at the last property.”
Sadly, viewers didn’t find Ben’s jokes funny at all and they picked on his gestures while being on TV.
One said: “Why does he keep doing a stupid little dance when he’s speaking?”
“When Ben tries to be as funny as Jonnie…Awks!” a second wrote and a third added: “All I can see is Ben rubbing his hands, never noticed it before, thanks gang.”
