Alan Carr revealed he purchased a second home with Amanda Holden in the heart of Spain for just €1.
During Thursday’s visit to the Good Morning Britain studios, Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins welcomed viewers back to discuss the latest news headlines this morning.
After discussing the ongoing issue of the cost of living crisis, the ITV presenters welcomed the stand-up comic on to lighten the show where he talked about his upcoming tour following the breakdown in his marriage.

In addition to writing a brand-new tour, the 46-year-old has also become a home owner for the second time after he revealed how he purchased a new home in Santorini with the Britain’s Got Talent judge.

Charlotte opened up the conversation by asking about his new investment and renovation plans for the rundown property.
She said: “I am intrigued by this story that you have bought a house with Amanda Holden for a euro and you’re doing it up.”
To which he replied: “Yeah, I’m renovating – it might not even be worth a euro by the end of it though!”

ITV bosses then flashed an image of the showbiz pals as they posed up a storm outside a grand gated entrance to a Spanish vineyard which the presenters accidentally mistook for his new home.
Alan quickly corrected the duo, joking: “Our house is not like that, it’s had squatters in for years.
“And of course we turn up, we’re off the telly me and Amanda, and we’re like, ‘What’s this mattress being moved?'”

Adil went on to explain how the local community are hoping to attract new buys to help transform the village.
He revealed: “I do remember this was in [Spain] somewhere in some village where they wanted to rebuild it and there was these derelict houses.
“And they said let’s encourage people to come over and start a new community – and you’re part of that.”

Alan went confessed that he is putting his all into this new project and is even knocking down walls in a jumpsuit as he compared himself to “a rundown Bob the Builder”.
He went on: “Yes, honestly I’m getting my hands dirty, I’m knocking down walls and plastering.
“Of course, Amanda looks fabulous in her jumpsuit. I look like a rundown Bob the Builder but it’s a lot of knocking down walls – I’m really out of my comfort zone.”
He went on to reveal that despite the fact that he only paid one Euro for the property, the home is “massive” and the locals are “great”.
