BBC Breakfast's Owain Wyn Evans 'screamed quite a lot' filming 'life changing' new show

BBC Breakfast star Owain Wyn Evans has dished the dirt on what fans can expect from new series Freeze The Fear with Wim Hof.

The new celebrity survival show, hosted by Holly Willoughby and Lee Mack, hits our television screens on April 12.

Viewers will see will see eight famous faces challenge themselves in sub-zero temperatures to achieve incredible results and overcome fears.

Owain, 38, spoke to his BBC co-stars Charlie Stayt and Rachel Burden about his time filming the show.

He explained: “It sounds very cheesy but it did change my life this experience.

“When I was there I was embracing the cold water and getting into ice and I never thought i’d do something like that.

“It’s something I still use on a daily basis to help me get on with my day.”

Charlie went on to ask his colleague who “screamed the most” while taking on the tough challenges.

A giggling Owain replied: “I screamed quit a lot to be honest.

“We all got emotional at times as well. It was such a lovely bunch of people to be with.

“We all wanted to be there and It’s safe to say we all screamed at various times.
