BGT thrown into chaos as screaming judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon leave panel

Things took a surprising turn during the first Britain’s Got Talent live semi-final of the series after judges Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon ran away during a contestant’s act.

Semi-finalists The Witches took the stage with their terrifying performance where they spooked each of the judges with their scary activity.

But as one of the Witches asked Amanda to put her hand in a box, Amanda was left petrified when she saw a mouse emerge.

Screaming hysterically, Alesha and Amanda quickly fled the scene leaving their seats empty.

Looking around in confusion, Simon Cowell and David Walliams tried to hold the fort while Simon picked up Amanda’s shoe from the floor.

Amanda was scared

Seeing the drama unfold, fans quickly took to Twitter to share their thoughts, with one person writing: “I’d scream and run off too…! What a load of c**p.”

Another shared: “16 minute build up to having a mouse in a box and disappearing through the floor like prime undertaker in 2006.”

However, some fans thought the judges ruined The Witch’s act with their constant talking and evident spooked behaviour.

Amanda and Alesha fled the scene

Taking to Twitter again, one person said: “Was it just me who thought the judges completely ruined The Witches act? I wanted to slap them!!”

Another said: “I think the judges were really disrespectful to The Witches, totally ruined their act by behaving that way and to not talk about it after whereas all other acts get spoken to? The act needs an apology.”

Fans had a lot to say during The Witches

Meanwhile a third gave an opposing view and said: “The judges didn’t ruin it. The witches was already ruined. It was too slow and what was the point? Why get the judges to read out their fears? Nothing came of it. It was a rat in a box. Rubbish.”

The Witches have been the talk of the town since they first appeared on the show in April during the auditions round.

With some desperately trying to work who could possibly be behind the scary costumes.
