Celebrity chef Jason Atherton was seen at work with two black eyes after defending his daughter in a bar brawl.
The 51-year-old Michelin star chef was allegedly attacked by thugs in a bar in the Philippines just days before Christmas.
Jason and his family were dining at the F Cafe and Bar when his daughter complained about a group of men who had harassed her.

He then reportedly confronted the thugs and asked them to apologised, but confrontation ensued and soon turned violent at around 1am local time.
Footage from the evening shows a mass brawl taking place at the bar in the Cebu province, and fists were being thrown around as people were stomped on the ground.
The owner of the restaurant, Gwendolyn Garcia, posted about the incident to Facebook, writing: “With the internationally acclaimed English Chef and restaurateur, Jason Atherton, awarded a Michelin star for his flagship restaurant, Pollen Street Social within just 6 months from opening in April 2011.
“These guys were harassing his daughter, while she was waiting in line for the restroom. Jason asked them to apologise, as any father who loves his daughter would,” Garcia said.
She went on: “Instead, they all ganged up on him, including F Bar’s people. (See the bruises?) Worse, F Bar’s bouncers held him down so Jason couldn’t fight back.
“The lady manager joined in the melee, even providing a bottle to beat him further, the whole time condemning him and all foreigners as troublemakers,” Garcia continued.
Garcia then concluded her narration, saying: “I’m so sorry for what happened to you, Jason. I hope this will not change your fondness for Cebu. Nor keep you from coming back to Cebu.”
She accompanied the detailed post with a photo of herself and restaurateur Atherton after the altercation.
